Here are some common question we answer:

What is each pin worth?

Each pin has a respected value assigned to it. Starting from the left, the left corner pin is worth 2 points, the next pin is worth 3 points, the center pin is worth 5 points, the next pin is worth 3 points and the right corner pin is worth 2 points. Total together for 15 points for all pins knocked over in 3 balls.

                                           2              2
                                               3      3
                                                   5

What score is a perfect game?

In five-pin a perfect game is 450. In ten pin it is 300.

What makes up a game?

A game consists of 10 frames. In each frame a bowler gets 3 balls to knock as many pins over as possible. But if the bowler knocks over all the pins in less than alternative scoring takes place. If a bowler knocks all the pins over in 2 balls it is called a SPARE and their turn would be over because they got all pins down. The value of a spare is 15 + the value of the first ball the bowler throws in the next frame. If a bowler gets all the pins over in 1 ball it is called a STRIKE and their turn would be over because they got all pins down. The value of a strike is 15 + the next two balls the bowler throws. If a bowler where to throw 3 stikes in a row the total value of the frame containing the first strike would be 45 (15 + 15 + 15).  In the tenth frame of a game each bowler gets three balls regardless. So if the bowler threw a STRIKE, that bowl would still have a chance to throw 2 more balls.
