Tips From The Pros!
Approach
One of the keys to a consistent bowling game is to have a smooth continuous approach. From start to finish your approach should feel as one continuous motion. If you stutter and stop or twist and turn your release will never be to the same place and will inevitably lead to inconsistent scoring.
Release
Every bowler is different and may have certain places they like to look. The majority use the center arrows as a guideline to their aim, although some people do use the pins. The disadvantage to the pins is that the target is so far away it is harder to hit your spot, if you choose a closer target that will get the ball in the right area it is easier to consistently hit the same spot. Regardless of where you look the methodology behind it is the same. When executing your approach, it is key to focus on your spot until after the ball is released. If your eyes stray from your specific target your ball tends to stray more often from its original target. If you find yourself unable to remember what you where looking at when you let go of the ball, chances are it wasn’t the right place.
